On London Bridge

I walked on London Bridge last night
I saw you by the lamppost light
Then bells rang out in sleepy London Town
And London Bridge came tumbling down
The sky was hidden by a mist
But just like magic when we kissed
The moon and stars were shining all around
When London Bridge came tumbling down

Just you and I over the river
Two hearts suspended in space
And there so high over the river
A miracle took place
Two empty arms found love to hold
Two smoke rings turned to rings of gold
Two simple dress became a wedding gown

I bow my head in silent prayer
And thank Him for the love we share
He blessed the night we met in London Town

런던 브리지 위에서
조우 스태퍼드
어젯밤 런던 브리지 위를 걸었어요
가로등 불빛으로 당신을 보았어요
그 순간 잠든 런던에 종들이 울리고
런던 브리지가 흔들흔들 내려왔어요
하늘은 안개로 가리어 있었지만
신기한 마술처럼 우리가 키스할 땐
달빛과 별빛이 사방에서 빛나면서
런던 브리지가 흔들흔들 내려왔어요

강 위에는 당신과 나뿐이었어요
두 마음이 허공에 걸려 있었어요
그리고 강물 위 저 높은 곳에서
하나의 기적이 일어났어요
비어 있던 두 팔이 사랑 찾아 껴안았고
동그란 두 담배 연기 금반지로 변했어요
입고 있던 보통 옷은 웨딩 가운으로 변했고요

나는 머리를 숙이고 말없이 기도하면서
우리가 나눈 사랑에 대해 감사드렸어요
하나님도 우리가 런던에서 만난 밤을 축복했어요
